Federer $5.50 to win an absurd seventh title in Melbourne

Reigning champion and six-time Australian Open winner, Roger Federer is into the third round of this years tournament after swatting aside Britain's Dan Evans.

The 37-year old admitted the Brit gave him the odd hiccup and was full of praise for the 28-year-old, who is ranked 189th in the world.

"He played very well. It was hard to pull away, to his credit. I thought I played well. It felt like playing in a mirror a little bit. That was the mindset I had - how would I play myself potentially." Federer said after the match.

Next up for the Swiss third seed is American Taylor Fritz who battled past France's Gael Monfils.

Elsewhere in the 2019 Men's Australian Open betting market, world number one Novak Djokovic who is also in the hunt for a record seventh Australian Open title is $2.20 to win the tournament and Rafael Nadal is available at $8.50.
