Resurgent Raonic in the form of his life

A series of injuries have not blunted the ambitions of Canadian Milos Raonic who skillfully navigated his way past fourth seed Alexander Zverev in the Australian Open.

In 2016 Raonic was third in the world rankings and took himself to such heights as the Wimbledon final but frustrating injuries have played a large part in the Canadian stars career.

Now doing his best to fill the gap Raonic was back to his best against Zverev, recording a 6-1 6-1 7-6 fourth-round triumph against the German, who won the ATP Finals two months ago in London.

In an interview after the match Raonic said: "I had a really good off-season. I put in some of the best hours in a long period of time, maybe ever," the 28-year-old Raonic said afterwards. "I'm not the kind of guy that needs a lot of matches."

"For me, it's about being sharp, moving well and being efficient with my serve and that kind of thing.

"If I can get those kinds of things, my serve always buys me time in matches and in tournaments to sort of figure things out. It can keep me alive for a while."

Raonic is $12.00 to win the Australian Open, while Rafael Nadal can be backed at $3.00 and Novak Djokovic at $1.80.
