Ringerdingding can be awesome in the Sandown Guineas

The Darren Weir trained Ringerdingding was an impressive winner of the Listed Springtime Stakes over 1400m at Flemington last Saturday and can be awesome in the Sandown Guineas this weekend.

RingerdingdingIt would be no surprise to see him shrug off the slight increase in trip down the Sandown straight and is being well backed after being installed as the $3.10 favourite.

The Mick Price trained filly Seabrook has taken a while to warm to punters but they are starting to get the message after her sixth place in Group 1 Empire Rose Stakes over 1600m at the beginning of the month.

The Hinchinbrook filly ran a big race at the end of her two year season to win the Champagne Stakes over 1600m at Randwick and is the chief danger to the favourite here.

Long Leaf is the first of the two Lindsay Park three year olds taking part after sixth in the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes but has yet to to win past 1000m and that’d be your big worry for him.

Good ‘N’ Fast is the second Lindsay Park runner who is producing good runs but not getting his head in front. The price he’s at, he’s worth an each-way punt at best.

If you are looking for an improver then Scottish Rogue ticks all the boxes. He’s working really well, finished second to Ringerdingding in the Springtime Stakes and definitely one of our big runners here.

Secret Blaze probably won't slam the favourite but third in the Group 3 Carbine Club Stakes suggests he has strong place claims for the Sandown Guineas and is a fantastic each-way bet at about $7.50.

Syd’s Coin, Zoutori, Du To Pass, Predecessor, Igniter and Achieve Victory have all been installed the outsiders of the 2018 Sandown Guineas field.
