The fight for the Constructors Championship continues

It’s the question we've been working on for the past few days: Can Mercedes win the Constructors Championship at the Brazilian Grand Prix at the weekend?

Constructors Championship F1

Well, we've dusted off the abacus and can now confirm the Silver Arrows currently head up the constructors championship table on 585 points with Ferrari trailing second on 530 points.

That's 55 points between the two teams and two races left in the 2018 Formula One season. Keeping up?

It means Mercedes can win the Constructors Championship at the Interlagos circuit in São Paulo on Sunday if they finish the race 43 points ahead of Ferrari.

To plunge the standings into chaos once more and take the fight to the final race in Abu Dhabi on 25th November Ferrari must outscore Mercedes by 13 points in Brazil.

So, there you have it.

However, there's surely more twists and turns to come yet and speaking of twists and turns, did we mention that while Lewis Hamilton took the Drivers Championship in Mexico the scraps are not over yet. There's still plenty of drivers hungry for the win on the Interlagos circuit so what are you waiting for? Get all your Formula One punts over at BetEasy.com.au.
