Top sporting action weekend 21st September
From the Golden Rose Stakes at Caulfield to the NRL Preliminary Finals and all the top sporting action in between, if you like a punt you're in for a busy few days. Read on to find out just some of the highlights.
Racing
Racing eyes will be focused on the Sydney Spring Racing Carnival and the Group 1 Golden Rose Stakes on Saturday at Rosehill Gardens where Graff has opened as a narrow favourite for trainer Kris Lees but it's set to be a tight contest with Chris Waller's three runners on the next three lines of Golden Rose Stakes betting.
Caulfield race course also comes alive on Saturday with the MRC Foundation Race Day and the Group 1 Ladbrokes Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes featuring international raiders, the Godolphin owned Jungle Cat and Home Of The Brave.
NRL Preliminary Finals
The Storm will face the Sharks and the Roosters will battle the Rabbitohs for a spot in the 2018 NRL Grand Final this weekend, what ever happens the games are going to be spectacular so get the tinnies in!
Melbourne Storm v Cronulla Sharks are first up on Friday so catch all the action on Fox Sports and Nine @ 7:50pm and Saturday it's the turn of Sydney Roosters v South Sydney Rabbitohs on Fox Sports and Nine @ 7:50pm.
AFL Preliminary Finals
You can’t fail to have noticed that the 2018 AFL Preliminary Finals are here and everything is pointing to the fact that both games promise to be the most compelling for years.
Richmond v Collingwood are first up on Friday so catch all the action on Fox Footy and Seven @ 7:50pm and Saturday it's the turn of West Coast v Melbourne on Fox Footy and Seven @ 3:20pm.
