Versatile Viddora could see off some favourites in the Everest

Duel Group 1 winner Viddora could see off some favourites in Saturday’s $13 million Everest according to her trainer Lloyd Kennewell.

This very versatile mare won the Magic Millions Snippets at the Gold Coast in the clockwise direction in January and returned to win the Group One Moir Stakes at Moonee Valley last month giving a clear indication of how high she can climb.

And if rain eventuates on Saturday Kennewell will not harbouring huge ground concerns either because this mare acts on all types of ground.

“She’s very adaptable everywhere she’s gone, whether it’s travelling or racing the other way,” Kennewell said.

“Dry or wet tracks, she’s done it all. A wet track shouldn’t be a problem. She’s handled everything. I think she’ll get through it and we just need a little bit of luck.”

“She had a gallop first thing this morning on the Caulfield course proper and worked really well,” Kennewell said. “She ran up her last 400 metres in pretty much 23 seconds on the dot. “She looks right on target and she has got as much chance as any of them.”

Quite frankly, a career-best effort will be required on Saturday in our opinion but the trip and track look tailor-made and at a quote of $15 from Sportsbet she has to be considered a massive each-way player.
