Almost everyone involved in racing will be looking forward to big time racing with the Melbourne Spring Carnival and of course the next exciting journey of Winx's career.

Adored around the country, this phenomenal horse is on a quest to win an unprecedented fourth Cox Plate in front of a boisterous crowd on October 27th at Moonee Valley but you don't have to wait that long because Winx is running in the Group 1 Turnbull Stakes at Flemington this Saturday where she's the hot $1.16 favourite to win!

Randwick hosts the last Group 1 race of the Sydney Spring Carnival with the Spring Champion Stakes. Thirteen runners with Thinkin’ Big installed as the favourite after his last win in the Group 3 Gloaming Stakes.

English Premier League Week 8

Round 8 of the English Premier League will keep you busy being busy this weekend. Perhaps the most important game being the top table clash between Liverpool and Manchester City.

Certainly a top of the table clash that neither team are going to want to lose so a high scoring game seems on the cards. Liverpool are at home and that for us gives them the edge..just.

NFL Week 5

Week 5 and the Chiefs and the Rams are the two remaining unbeatens while at the other end of the scale the Cardinals are struggling to get their first win of the year.

In all honesty, it was quite a dull week last week but the New England Patriots v Indianapolis Colts get this week underway on Friday and the New Orleans Saints v Washington Redskins wrap it up on Tuesday so your guess is as good as ours if we get some much needed drama in between. Let's hope!

Bathurst 1000

Who will tame the mountain on Sunday? The 2018 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, got off to a soggy start for opening practice on Thursday but don't let that dampen your spirits.

The bookies have the outright market up as well as a number of specials, including fastest lap and top 6 finish so dig deep and cash in on Australia's premier car race.

If cricket is more your thing then get busy being busy.

There's the JLT Cup Quarter Final on Thursday, the Women’s T20: Australia v New Zealand (Game 3) on Friday, the JLT Cup Semi Final on Saturday and on Sunday there's the second JLT Cup Semi Final and Pakistan v Australia: First Test to get involved in.

Been making a profit from the FFA Cup? Then keep it up with the semi finals taking place over the weekend. Clear your diaries, pull up a comfy chair and get the tinnies in, here's the schedule. Both games are live on Fox Sports @ 7.30pm.

Friday 5th October

Bentleigh Greens v Adelaide United – Fox Sports @ 7:30pm

Saturday 6th October

Western Sydney Wanderers v Sydney FC – Fox Sports @ 7:30pm

The Rugby Championship

The All Blacks have wrapped up The Rugby Championship but if you are still interested Saturday is your day with South Africa v New Zealand live on Fox Sports @ 1am and Argentina v Australia live on Fox Sports and Ten @ 9:30am.
